Get a Library Card

Residents of the town of Culver or Union Township are eligible for a free library card. Not a resident? Ask us! We also issue cards to reciprocal borrowers.

Gather Your Documents

A valid government-issued photo ID displaying your current address.

Visit CUTPL

Request a library card at the circulation desk and receive your card in 10 minutes.

Check out bestsellers, new releases, digital formats, and more.

Borrowing Materials

Use your library card at CUTPL to borrow materials including books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. Borrow digital items including e-books, e-audiobooks and more.

How many items can I check out?
A maximum of 100 items may be checked out simultaneously on a single library card. DVD borrowing is limited to 10.
How long can I keep my items?
The borrowing duration varies based on factors including release or acquisition date, format type, etc. Be sure to check your due date slip and renew or return items on time so that others can enjoy them.
Where do I return library materials?
Please return items in the outside dropbox next to the Library’s west entrance or bring them inside to the circulation desk.
Am I a reciprocal borrower?

If you reside in Culver or Union Township, you can get a free library card at the Plymouth Public Library.

Reserve a Meeting Room

Meeting rooms are available for use by groups of 5 or more for professional, educational, or social gatherings. Making a reservation is recommended to ensure that your group can be accommodated. The following spaces are available for reservations during library hours: 

  • North Meeting Room – capacity 200 (standing)
  • Carnegie Room – capacity 144 (standing)
  • Small Meeting Room – capacity 20 (standing/seated)

WiFi Access & Printing

Library WiFi

Free WiFi is available in the library, courtyard and parking lot. No password is needed, just point your device to the network called “CUTPL.”

Business Services

Photocopy, scan and fax documents using our self-service ScanEZ kiosk. Documents may be printed from the web or a flash drive by using a library computer.
